I received my shipment of Month 2’s Smitten Quilt this week so of course I dove right in! The first block from this batch is done. Whew! This week has been another doozy for me, so I’m glad I got this done so quickly. I received my first dose of the covid vaccine on Tuesday and so far so good, my arm is a little sore still but I was preparing to be bedridden from it from just hearing other people’s reactions to it.
A few months ago, I filled out a survey with Bernina and they said that the reward was the gold coated #1 foot, and I have been eyeing that foot since I first got my machine so of course I filled it out. And then I heard nothing back, like no confirmation e-mail or thank you splash page so I chalked it up to probably getting scammed. But last night the foot showed up!
The card that came inside the box said that since gold is so soft signs of abrasions and wear can appear, so I’m now I’m scared to use it. 😬😬😬 So I will only use it when I need to flex on somebody. Like a sewing circle with royalty or something.
Anyways this week marks the first week of the 2021 Formula 1 season, so I can’t wait to get tons of stitching in while watching it with the family. The twins are absolutely captivated by the cars so I’ll take any break I can get! Enjoy the rest of your week and weekend. xo
