Whew! This month has been a bit of a struggle for me when its coming to staying on top of my stitching projects. I’ve just been super busy working and taking care of the kids and the house – I’m still trying to find my groove! I have a possible work trip coming up at the end of this month and I’m trying prepare myself for that too. I just feel like I’m trying to shove 10 lbs of 💩 into a 5 lb bag.
I’m going to start cutting out the next block today, all my scraps are my basement sewing room and I’m soooooo lazy when it comes to going down there. yuck. Maybe I should put like a coffee machine down there or something to motivate me. Also its a complete disaster down there and it gives me anxiety. Ahem anyways, here is the progress of my stitched together smitten quilt so far:

I’m loving it so much! It’s been so much fun to work on so many different blocks and in different colors.
I also started cutting out pieces for the Butterfly effect quilt and I even started stitching too, but I don’t have any progress pics (yet, check back next week!).

I also happened upon the realization that 👑tula needs to make a 28mm rotary cutter in her oil slick colors. ugh that would be such a dream.
I also cut out all the pieces for the 👑lillyella holdtite folio so I need to sew up tonight or tomorrow. I bought some old school zuma fabrics so I can’t wait to see it all put together and show you guys. Anyways the weather is absolutely gorgeous outside, so the kiddos and I are gonna head out and enjoy the rest of our day. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! xo vee
